On Wednesday 02 June 21, in the context of the network of international cooperations with friendly and allied countries, organized by the HNDGS, under the directions of D Army Corps, a co-training took place between the 12th Mechanized Infantry Division (XII MECHANIZED INFANTRY DIVISION “EVROS”) with forces of the 16th Sustainment Brigade (16th SUST BDE) and the 104th Logistics Support Brigade (104th LOG BDE) with regard to logistics, at “AETOS” FIELD OF EXERCISES-FIELD OF FIRE, in Alexandroupolis.

The co-training was attended by 3 groups of 12 people (1 from each country), which competed in the following subjects:
-A 3 kilometers march and conduct of fire (15 rounds) in fall back targets.
-Armament and vehicles reconnaissance.
-Skillfulness to direct a 3 vehicles convoy up to a 6 kilometers distance.

Upon the conclusion of the Exercise, an award of Medals, Commemoratives, Diplomas and Plaques took place.

The achievement of this co-training was the development of relations and a flawless cooperation with the U.S and U.K. forces, resulting in the improvement of the operational training, interoperability and standardization of actions of the Division’s Units – Independent Sub-Units, in order to serve the operational objectives of the Hellenic Armed Forces and the gain of training benefit, through the exchange of experiences.

The Exercise was conducted in accordance with the specified medical provisions against Covid-19 dispersion.
